Alice In Wonderland Palette

The Alice In Wonderland Palette launched with Urban Decay in May 2016, alongside the new film. This palette is something I fell in love with immediately, and I needed to have, so off I went dragging Richard along with me to Urban Decay’s Flagship store in Covent Garden. This make up masterpiece is truly an amazing representation of the vibrant and colourful film that is Alice in Wonderland. See below for palette details:

Each column represents a different character in the film, see details below:

This picture really doesn’t do the shades the justice they deserve, they are seriously beautiful and pigmented. My fave look is Mad Hatter, but I also like to mix and match different character shades, it’s a completely versatile palette and plethora of shades and colours means that a whole range of looks can be completed.

The texture of the shades are great, and they blend like butter together to create a perfect ombré eye look. Shades like Royal Flush and Lily can also be used on the brow bone for an extra highlight to complete an overall look. It’s shades include that of a classic “day” nude look and also more outgoing and adventurous looks.

As said earlier, my favourite look is the Mad Hatter column:

  1. Base: Looking Glass
  2. Outer Corner of Eye: Gone Mad
  3. Lid & Blend into Outer Corner: Cake
  4. Tear Duct: Paradox
  5. Water Line: Hatter
  6. Brow Bone: Royal Flush

EXTRAS to complete this look:

  1. Too Faced Shadow Insurance to slay 24 hours of the day
  2. Kyliner in Black to emphasise this bold eye
  3. Huda Beauty Sasha Lashes #11
  4. Limecrime’s Marshmallow Velvetine for a subtle nude lip

As mentioned above, this palette was special edition and is no longer available, but is on Ebay for almost double what I payed, which was around £45. If you were lucky enough to get one of these bad boys I salute your hard work, and if not, I feel for you.

Thanks for reading,

Love, Loz x
