KYLIE’s Holiday Collection

Sooo probably about 4 months late but nevermind, I just had to review Kylie Jenner’s Cosmetic Line’s Holiday Collection *holiday meaning Christmas to us non-Americans. I honestly didn’t prepare myself in opening this wondrous creation. Totally worth the money, as it includes exclusive shades and items no longer available to buy. As well as this, all items included are all year round worthy, but obviously focusing on winter months with it’s name themes & main colour scheme.

Wanna see what’s included, scroll down:

The collection includes:

  1. 10 x Liquid Lipsticks
  2. 1 x Creme Kyliner
  3. 1 x Kyliner Brush
  4. 1 x Pencil Kyliner
  5. 3 x Creme Shadows
  6. 1 x Holiday Edition Kyshadow Palette

More details to follow, but can we just take a moment to look at it *heart eyes emoji*. Seriously though, I buy tonnes of make up, and the presentation of this collection really counts in terms of reviewing, but obviously application, economic beneficiaries & appropriateness to the individual purchaser are more significant when looking to buy a product. See below for product details and individual reviews.

  1. The Holiday Edition Pressed KYshadow Palette.

Without flash                                        /                          With flash

The shades included in this palette are as follows (left to right, top to bottom)

Sugar Cookie – Frosty – Chestnut

Mittens – Winter – Nutcracker

Gingerbread – Evergreen – Silent Night

This special edition Kyshadow palette is the only one I currently own, but it does set itself and the others in Kylie’s cosmetic line a superb first impression. The shades are great and plenty of glitter (which is my fave) in comparison to her more matte sisters. Perfect for the Holiday season.

The pigment is slightly off, meaning you have to apply quite a bit to get the *pop* you truly want. This means that it may run out quickly, but due to it’s lovable shades, you’ll be able to use all of them to the best of their abilities. My favourite shades in this palette are Frosty, Winter & Gingerbread, I mean, look at how amazing they look with & without flash.

2. Kyliner & Creme Kyshadow Collection:

Now my picture is sliiiiiightly confusing as I’ve mixed up the shadows and liner, so apologises. But from left to right:

  1. Yellow-Gold Creme Shadow – exactly that, bright gold
  2. Snow Kyliner – Striking silver/grey
  3. Golden Plum Creme Shadow – Foiled, dark plum shade with rose gold undertones
  4. Camo Creme Shadow – Dark, foiled gold

Underneath the creme goodness features the winged brush applicator & pencil Kyliner in Snow, the same colour as the Creme Kyliner.

These shadows are super pigmented, they look amazing and I can’t wait to create looks with them. The colours are on point and again, perfect for all year round.

3. Kylie’s Liquid Lipsticks

Although the opposite round to what they are presented like in the display unit, here are the swatch shade names from LEFT — > RIGHT:

  1. Naughty (Holiday Exclusive)
  2. Okurrr (also featured in the KoKo Collection)
  3. Jolly (Holiday Exclusive)
  4. Vixen (Just relaunched as a permanent lip colour @
  5. Merry (Now known as Boujee, just relaunched as a permanent lip colour)
  6. Brown Sugar (Also available as a lipkit)
  7. Candy K (Also available as a lipkit)
  8. Pumpkin (Holiday Exclusive)
  9. KoKo K (Also available as lipkit)
  10. Angel (Holiday Exclusive)

50% (now 30% due to relaunch of 2 items) are exclusive to the Holiday Collection. These liquid lipsticks are amazing, and honestly, have changed my opinions completely about liquid lipsticks in general. I am much more of a creme lipstick girl, but the texture when applying and drying is soft, moisturising and then you don’t even notice it’s on at all!

It lasts until you take it off yourself hours later when removing make up. When I was doing the swatches above, I literally had to scrub them off with a make up wipe, which is great for me who literally eats and drinks all day long meaning that I need something durable. My only complaint is that the pinky tones are slightly darker on my lips than imagined, but this is probably due to my intensely pale skin *sigh*

So ratings are as follows:

  • Packaging –  5/5
  • Kyshadow Palette – 4/5
  • Creme Shadows – 5/5
  • Creme/ Pencil Kyliner – 4/5
  • Liquid Lipsticks – 4.5/5

Overall a 4.5/5 for this Exclusive Holiday Edition Kylie Cosmetic’s Collection proving that this collection is for life, not just for Christmas.

Thanks for reading,

Love, Loz x
